Terms of Service
By using JN Dossier, you agree to these terms. JN Dossier is an independently run, single-person product — please read this in that spirit, not as a large-company legal document.
What the service is
JN Dossier interviews you about your career, builds a structured private profile from the conversation, and can turn that into documents (a private inventory, a shareable version, or a question worksheet). It is a preparation and self-reflection tool — it does not guarantee any interview or job outcome.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping access to that account secure. One account is meant for one person's career history.
Credits
The AI-powered parts of the app (the interview, document generation, and certain analyses) are metered using credits. Deterministic features — readiness scoring, question tracking, practice rounds — are always free. Credits are allocated at our discretion; we don't currently sell credits, and unused credits carry no cash value. Re-downloading a document you've already generated is always free, even without credits.
Acceptable use
- Use the service for your own career preparation — not to build profiles of other people without their knowledge and consent.
- Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or probe the system for vulnerabilities without our permission (if you find one, we'd genuinely like to hear about it through the contact page).
- Don't upload documents you don't have the right to share.
No outcome guarantee
Nothing in JN Dossier is a promise about how any real interview or job application will go. The app helps you prepare more thoroughly; the outcome is always between you and the people you're talking to.
Suspension
We may pause an account that's abusing the system or violating these terms. Suspension is recoverable — your data is kept, not deleted, and access is restored once resolved. You can also delete your account and data yourself at any time.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
